Showhome - Q2

The proposed new show home is a contemporary L-shaped house comprising of a living pavilion and a sleeping pavilion. The Q2 is sited on a generous 2,515 sqm section at Lot 105 Rossington Drive which is located within the Gainsborough development at West Melton.

The Q2 sits low on the landscape around a private north facing courtyard providing shelter from the prevailing north easterly winds and offering expansive views of New Zealand’s Southern Alps.

Both pavilions are connected by a light-filled glazed entrance link. The kitchen, dining and living areas integrate seamlessly with the courtyard via full height sliding glass doors. Access to the bedrooms is through a natural light-filled corridor overlooking the courtyard. The main bedroom suite is located at the end of the wing and spans the full width of the pavilion. Access is provided from the master suite directly to the outdoor area via sliding glass doors. Utility rooms are located at the south east corner of the house.

The detached double garage is dressed with horizontal slatted western red cedar and linked to the entrance via a covered walkway.
